Mt. Kilimanjaro (5,895m) Trek
COVID 19 UPDATE:
UNFORTUNATELY DUE TO THE CURRENT TRAVEL RESTRICTIONS AND RISK TO HEALTH AND SAFETY, THE KILIMANJARO TREK HAS BEEN POSTPONED TO 2022. THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT SO FAR FOR OUR TRUSTEES TAKING ON THE CHALLENGE.
Our Chair John and a team of adrenaline enthusiast, are taking on the challenge of Kilimanjaro in 2022.
To raise money for Chaddy Mission, they are going to trek up the Kilimanjaro (5,895m,) the highest free standing mountain in the world to the roof of Africa!
Want to join them? We have partnered up with Edge World travel for this adventure and you could come with us just quote Chaddy Mission when enquiring or email us. If you can't join us then why not support our amazing volunteers for this incredible journey.
In light of having to postpone the Kilimanjaro trek, our founder Jenny and Trustee, Zoe are taking part in the Peak District Copper Challenge!
Its a 25km walk, which trails beside the river Derwent and through the woods to Baslow. The route then takes us up Curbar and Frogatt edges, giving beautiful views of the Valley- prefect for The Gram!
The route finishes in Hathersage and then CMK will be hosting a celebratory evening as a Thankyou and a Well Done to all that take on this challenge with us.
The route has an achievable 700m ascent over the whole route and has a 9hour challenge time (although you can take longer if you wish to take in the views!)
Registration to take part is £46 and if you raise/ donate £100 for CMK then we will refund your registration costs as a thankyou!
Get in touch with us if you want further info!
