Visit the School
We welcome anyone who would like to come to visit us here at the school. We can provide groups or individuals with advice on how to organise your trip independently. If you prefer to go with a company African Adventures kindly supports us organising group trips to volunteer Chaddy Mission School.
During your stay, you will have the opportunity to be immersed into our local culture and community. Our school currently needs volunteers to work on the garden, kitchen, constructing classrooms and teaching. Our community also needs individuals who work in health and education. During your stay you will learn about our culture and language and at the end of your volunteering experience, the school management will present a certificate of appreciation to celebrate your time at the school. In addition to this, we are also very close to the Rift Valley Safari Park. If you are interested and would like further information please contact us or contact African Adventures and mention Chaddy Mission Kenya charity.
For updates and testimonials on current and previous volunteers please visit our Facebook and Twitter.
Become a Donor
We are grateful to have some amazing supporters who, whilst they cannot support us with time and resources, they help by donating to Chaddy Mission Kenya.
We have a Pay £1 to Pay a Teacher programme which see's people donate regularly (monthly) in order to support our main focus of ensuring our teachers receive a wage every month. Would you consider becoming a regular donor and supporting us in providing a regular income for our teachers who do incredible work?
Please note: Our main donation provider (Totalgiving) is linked to Paypal, but there is also an option for card payments beneath the Paypal login.
If you wish to use a donation service that is not online, then please contact us to send a cheque or arrange a cash donation, we will be happy to help.
School Partnership Programme
We are excited to announce that we have a School Partnership Programme which links school's here in the UK with Chaddy Mission Kenya School!
When you sign up to the Programme, we link a class from Chaddy Mission School with a class from your school and provide resources to help the link fulfill requirements in the UK national curriculum at either Primary or Secondary level.
Furthermore the children will receive updates from Chaddy Mission School via videos, photos and emails so you're able to keep up to date with what is happening!
This programme is already successfully set up with Newman College Secondary School who also include a christmas appeal whereby the children write letters and send them to our children in Kenya including a pencil or pen to help with our students studying!
To qualify for the programme and for your children to be a part of an amazing experience all that is needed is to commit to one fundraising event per year which funds either teachers wages or educational supplies (stationary, textbooks, learning materials, etc).
for more information, please contact us.
Are you part of a company or organisation that could organise or host a fundraiser? Maybe you're just an individual that might like to do some baking or organise a raffle?
If you know what you would like to do but not sure how to organise it, contact us! Our fundraising trustee, Zoe, is more than happy to help support you and your fundraiser!
Get in touch if you would like to do a fundraising event! However big or small, it is greatly appreciated!
